One of the most important books I have ever read was The Continuum Concept. I first heard about it on a natural family life email forum when my first born was four months old, almost eight years ago. Even though I was already headed down the path of attachment parenting, I was blown away by the insights in this book. It introduced me to the whole concept of evolutionary and biological expectations that we as humans are born with. It all made so much sense, intuitively, but goes so counter to what mainstream Western parenting has become. My wish would be for every parent to read this book. RIP Jean.

The Continuum Concept was one of the first parenting books I read and I am so glad for it. All my babes were worn and shared our bed. I would have it no other way. I have lent out every copy I've had!
RIP, Jean Liedloff.
I would like to enter please!
If I were to win, I'd read it myself then pass it on. I think I'm pretty familiar with the concept already, but have never actually read the book. It would be nice to read her words first-hand, share it with my husband, then give it away again.
I am on the waiting list at the library for this book, and would LOVE to win a copy!!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to win this book. I'm very interested in Jean Liedloff's legacy and attachment parenting.
Jean Liedloff's passing is sad. Her book was/is one of those life-changers.
I would love a copy!
RIP, Jean.
One of my absolute favorite parenting books! Totally opened my eyes and taught me to re-think the way we parent (ie. the way everybody else does: believing that children are helpless but demanding, and stupid but manipulative)
I had never heard about the book until Laureen's post yesterday - but it's right up my alley and I'd love to read a copy and pass it on!

WE so need a copy for our library at Augusta Birth Network!!! Have been receiving donations but this one never makes it's way to us....such a great idea!
I've just discovered your store and the DVBVictoria group. My husband and I are new to Victoria and expecting our first child in September! I've just liked your page on FB.
RIP!
Must be a great book!
I haven't had a chance to read this book yet, it's on my to do list so winning it would be great!
